The White House had ordered in piles of hamburgers, sandwiches and fries from major fastfood chains when he hosted winning sports teams from several US universities last year. BENGALURU: Two sports tech startups tested their products at the Bengaluru Open, the week-long signature event on the ATP Challenger Tour the city hosted, that saw some of the finest stars play world-class tennis, last week. SportsKPI and Gamatics, both Bengaluru-based, got the opportunity to showcase their innovation. SportsKPI is a sport analytics and tech firm that help teams improve their performance while Gamatics provides tech platform for players to demonstrate their abilities in a structured format and seek support from sponsors, a press release said. “With the help of technology, the players gathered more information about their performance and were able to record it in a structured format,” event organizing committee chairman Priyank Kharge, also a former IT minister, said.
