The Miami Heat will soon have fans at their games, bringing a bit of a return to normalcy to the AmericanAirlines Arena. But it won’t come without a bit of a unique twist to the protocol for letting fans in, as coronavirus-sniffing dogs will be used to screen the fans that want to come to games, according to a story from USA Today . USA Today says that the highly trained dogs have been in place for games already this season where friends and families of the players have been able to attend games. This week, a limited number of season ticket holders will be allowed to attend games after being screened by the dogs at the arena. The first opportunity for that will be this Thursday, when the Heat host the Los Angeles Clippers. Using coronavirus-sniffing dogs has been put into place at airports in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and Helsinki, Finland, according to USA Today .
