· March 4, 2021 ·

For the most up-to-date news and information about the coronavirus pandemic, visit the WHO website . Eight great apes at the San Diego Zoo have each received two doses of an experimental COVID-19 vaccine developed for animals, National Geographic reports . Three orangutans and five bonobos received both shots of the vaccine while distracted by treats, and have reportedly not had any negative side effects. The zoo will soon be able to check for antibodies to know if the vaccine worked as intended. A Hong Kong pharmaceutical company initially developed this experimental vaccine for use on cats and dogs; using it on the great apes was a calculated risk. Computer, raise temperature to “San Diego”

· September 4, 2006 ·

To help me along to that end, here's the $130 talking Kelvin Thermostat . I hope when it arrives, there'll be no more need for flirting. [via SCI FI Tech ] … [Read more...] about Computer, raise temperature to “San Diego”

· March 2, 2021 ·

Climate change and global warming are nothing new—though, some are still in denial of the existence and negative impacts of these phenomena. Though the media lives for hyping up big weather phenomena, actual scientific research and data reveal the earth is, in fact, heating up at an alarming rate.
