The leftists running the Big Apple and the Empire State have settled on a convenient COVID-19 "super spreader" scapegoat of choice. Their choice should be surprising to no one: the Jews. In a Monday press conference, Governor Andrew Cuomo did not merely single out New Rochelle, in Westchester County, as the first outbreak hotspot—he emphasized, for good measure, the "Orthodox Jewish" identity of the culprit. "We know religious gatherings have been a problem...for weeks," he continued, belying any semblance of neutrality as to which particular community he had in mind when TV producers flashed images of black hat-clad Haredi Jews across the screen. In Kafkaesque fashion, as Jewish Insider 's Jacob Kornbluh pointed out , one of the photos appeared to be from 2006. Broadway Unions Urge New York State Renewal Of COBRA Subsidies

The Coalition of Broadway Unions & Guilds is calling for health care relief in the upcoming New York State budget, specifically urging for the updating and renewal of the state’s COBRA subsidy program. “Securing health care relief is a top priority for the Broadway Unions and Guilds,” said COBUG Co-Chairs Joe Hartnett, Co-Director, Stagecraft Department, IATSE and Laura Penn, Executive Director, SDC. “Theatre workers are suffering. Almost all lost their jobs last spring, which means they’ve also lost health care for themselves and their families. Health care relief must be included in the upcoming New York State budget.” COBUG is made up of 18 unions representing workers both on and off stage in and outside New York State. “We must proactively support arts and entertainment workers with COBRA subsidies in order to make certain that these workers are here, and healthy, when our industry is ready to re-open,” Hartnett and Penn continued. NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center sites in New Jersey have not yet received COVID-19 vaccines from the Department of Health . As CBS2’s Meg Baker reported Wednesday, advocates and patients are now calling on the state for help. “I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in September of 2019,” Highland Park resident Darcie Cimarusti said.
