‘Biden Totally Caved’: Jesse Watters Says Teachers Unions ‘Held Students Hostage’ To Jump The Line On Vaccines

· March 2, 2021 ·

Fox News host Jesse Watters said Tuesday that President Joe Biden had “totally caved” to teachers unions. Watters joined cohosts Juan Williams, Greg Gutfeld, Katie Pavlich and Dana Perino on Fox News’ “The Five” to discuss the Biden administration’s promise to have enough coronavirus vaccine doses for every adult in the United States by the end of May. World’s rarest seals have a secret breeding cave in Cyprus

· March 5, 2021 ·

The world's rarest seals have been caught on camera in secret breeding caves in northern Cyprus. The new breeding sites provide hope for a struggling species, but the caves are now in need of protection. Mediterranean monk seals ( Monachus monachus ) are the most endangered of all the pinniped species — a group that includes seals, sea lions, sea otters and walruses — with just 700 individuals left in the wild, according to the International Union for Conservation of Nature Red List of endangered species . A large number of those seals live in and around Cyprus. Due to human pressures, such as bycatch and tourism, the monk seals have been forced to raise their pups inside cave systems, rather than their usual open beaches, on the island. A new study using camera traps, carried out by researchers from the University of Exeter in the U.K. and the Society for the Protection of Turtles (SPOT) in Cyprus, has revealed several previously unknown breeding caves in northern … [Read more...] about World’s rarest seals have a secret breeding cave in Cyprus

Secret tunnel dating back hundreds of years found by workmen moving garden pole

· March 4, 2021 ·

A secret tunnel unused for hundreds of years was stumbled upon by workmen. A Western Power Distribution team were on a job in Tintern, Monmouthshire moving an overhead power line. When they started digging up a footpath which ran parallel to a fast flowing stream they realised something unusual was underfoot, Wales Online reported. They dug down and realised it was a four foot-high man-made passage. "Before work began we'd done all the usual checks and nothing had shown up on any of our drawings or records to indicate there was anything unusual about the site," said technician Allyn Gore. "But shortly after the excavation began, the digging team made the extraordinary discovery of what they initially thought to be a cave." He added: "Work stopped immediately and we were called in to decide what course of action we should take next. "I have previously been involved in other excavations where we've discovered old wells and cellars not shown on any plans, but nothing as … [Read more...] about Secret tunnel dating back hundreds of years found by workmen moving garden pole

· March 4, 2021 ·

close Video Author on Dr. Seuss controversy: ‘This is obviously complicated’ ‘A New Day’ and ‘I Am Frida Kahlo’ author Brad Meltzer discusses cancel culture on ‘Fox & Friends.’ The New York Public Library (NYPL) will continue to lend out six specific Dr. Seuss titles , even as the business that preserves and protects the author’s legacy has decided to cease publication of said titles. Dr. Seuss Enterprises announced Tuesday, on National Read Across America Day, that publication of such titles as "And to Think That I saw It on Mulberry Street," "If I Ran the Zoo," "McElligot’s Pool," "On Beyond Zebra!," "Scrambled Eggs Super!" and "The Cat’s Quizzer" will cease following controversy that these specific books include racist imagery . The decision followed discussions held last year, with the company citing concerns that the books -- published in the 1940s and '50s -- "portray people in ways that are hurtful and wrong."
