SINGAPORE: Singapore reported nine more confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Friday (Feb 14), the Ministry of Health (MOH) said in a daily update. Of them, six are linked to a cluster from the Grace Assembly of God church, director of medical services at MOH Kenneth Mak said at a press conference. This brings the total number of novel coronavirus cases in Singapore to 67, with six patients in critical condition. Two more patients, case 30 and 45, have been discharged from hospital as of Friday, meaning 17 people have now fully recovered from the disease. Case 30 is a 27-year-old man who attended a private business meeting at Grand Hyatt Singapore, which has also been identified as a cluster, while case 45 is a two-year-old girl who was among the 92 Singaporeans evacuated from Wuhan on Jan 30. On this day, each family contributes an offering to the ceremony. The offerings, arranged on a on a four-legged table, include a goat, a rooster, three pieces of tofu, and three pieces of chopped ‘chung’ cake (glutinous rice cake), along with offerings donated by descendants in the family. The last weekend of Indian Idol 12 saw telly couple Bharti Singh and husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa hosting the singing reality show . The show’s hosted by Aditya Narayan. The singer and host took to social media to share why he was missing from the singing reality show. Aditya was tending an injury. He wrote, “Hey! SINGAPORE: In a case described by the judge as one of the most shocking and horrific criminal sex cases in the courts, a teenager raped underage girls and committed a slew of sexual offences against a total of 19 victims. For his actions, Muhammad Anddy Faizul Mohamed Eskah, now 20, was sentenced on Friday (Jun 12) to 22 years' jail and 24 strokes of the cane. He pleaded guilty to nine charges including one count of rape, two counts of aggravated statutory rape, one count of statutory rape and various counts of sexual assault. An additional 59 charges were taken into consideration for sentencing. The court heard that Anddy was between the ages of 15 and 18 when he committed the acts from April 2015 to August 2017.
