Go aids Lanao Norte, Agusan Sur fire victims

SEN. Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go, through his outreach team, extended help to families displaced by fire in Barangay Caromatan, Kolambugan, Lanao del Norte and in Agusan del Sur. His team brought cash assistance, food and medicine packs, masks and face shields, as well as a bicycle for Crisanto Dahili and his family. The family also received other forms of emergency assistance from the Department of Social Welfare and Development, the Department of Health, the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority, the National Housing Authority and the local social welfare office. The Department of Trade and Industry, meanwhile, pledged to provide financial assistance to help Dahili start a hog-raising business in their village. “We will continue to help our fellowmen, especially our countrymen, affected by the different crises and disasters. Show compassion, Go asks Meralco, other power firms

SEN. Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go has urged the Manila Electric Co. (Meralco) and other electric companies to show more compassion to small consumers and study the possibility of extending their no-disconnection policy. He made the call after the company issued disconnection notices to its consumers who have not completely settled their bills after having been allowed to defer payment last year because of the pandemic. Fire victims, trike drivers receive help from Bong Go

Senator Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go sent assistance to a total of 444 individuals, some of whom were fire victims and the others were drivers of tricycles and padyak (pedal pushers) in Obando, Bulacan on Tuesday. The aid distribution was held at the covered stage of Obando Central School on JP Rizal Street Barangay Paliwas where Go’s team met with 14 families affected by the fire on January 10, 2021 in Barangay Salambao and 290 tricycle drivers and 140 padyak drivers. “Huwag po kayo mag-alala, kapag dumating na ang bakuna kayong mga mahihirap kasama na ang mga guro ang una namin bibigyan para makabalik na tayo sa normal. Duterte opens school buildings in Bulacan

PRESIDENT Rodrigo Duterte inaugurated a total of seven school buildings with 140 classrooms at two towns in Bulacan province on Thursday afternoon. The President personally attended the opening of the newly constructed two four-story buildings with four classrooms each and one new four-story building with 12 classrooms at Gregorio H. del Pilar Integrated School in Sta. Ana, Bulakan, Bulacan while virtually leading the unveiling of a marker for four four-story buildings with 20 classrooms each at Virginia Ramirez-Cruz High School in Siling Bata, Pandi, Bulacan via livestreaming. 85K served by Malasakit Center in Ilocos Region

DAGUPAN CITY, Pangasinan: A total of 85,248 indigent patients from Pangasinan, Tarlac and La Union provinces has been served by the Malasakit Center based at the Region 1 Medical Center (R1MC) here since its opening on Feb. 26, 2019. This was announced on Wednesday by R1MC chief Dr. Joseph Roland Mejia during the first anniversary celebration of the center in the presence of Sen. Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go. The Malasakit Center, according to Mejia, has already disbursed more than P120 million to pay the hospital bills of the indigent patients of R1MC and other hospitals in the Ilocos Region. “This is a very important initiative of President Rodrigo Duterte and [Sen.
