Its all about cats

We’ve been warned about snakes on planes . We’ve seen stories of scorpions attacking passengers , birds on the loose in the cockpit , and even the tale of two tarantulas who decided to go walkabout in the cabin. There's even been a stowaway wētā on a recent Air New Zealand flight. But none have caused quite as much chaos, as well as an emergency landing, as one angry cat who clearly didn’t like flying. The drama happened not long after takeoff on a Tarco Airlines flight from Sudan to Qatar’s capital, Doha, reports Al-Sudani . Just days after a cantankerous cat caused a plane diversion for attacking the unsuspecting pilots on a Qatar-bound flight, another mischievous moggy is causing transport problems, this time in London. Just 30 minutes before the 200kmh Pendolino service was due to leave Euston station for Manchester, a bundle of fur was spotted sitting on top of the train. Unfortunately capturing the cat proved to be a bit of a mission, one that resulted in having to take the train out of service and switching all the passengers onto another Express. WASHINGTON: The United States on Thursday (Mar 4) unveiled new measures to punish Myanmar's army for its Feb 1 coup, blocking the ministries of defence and home affairs and top military conglomerates from certain types of trade. Washington has also subjected Myanmar to "military end use" export control restrictions, requiring its US suppliers to seek difficult-to-obtain US licences to ship it certain items. The actions were taken in response to the Myanmar military's intensified crackdown on peaceful protesters who oppose the takeover that overthrew elected officials including leader Aung San Suu Kyi, who had won a national election in November. Police broke up demonstrations with tear gas and gunfire in several cities across the country. The United Nations said that at least 54 people have been killed since the coup. More than 1,700 people had been arrested, including 29 journalists.
