Home First Finance IPO subscribed 73% on Day 1
NEW DELHI: The Rs 1,153.71-crore Home First Finance IPO received 73 per cent bids on the first day of the bidding process.The issue received bids for 1,62,08,892 shares, which was 72.63 per cent of the issue size of 2,23,15,639 shares. The housing finance company (HFC) had on Wednesday raised a little over Rs 346 crore from 25 anchor investors.On the block is an offer for sale (OFS) of shares worth Rs 888.72 crore and a fresh issue of shares worth Rs 265 crore. The price band for the issue is fixed at Rs 517-518 apiece. Investors can bid for a minimum of 28 equity shares and and in multiples thereafter.Analysts said the HFC has reported a strong set of numbers over the last couple of years. Asset quality for the company that caters to first-time home buyers in low- and middle-income groups has remained strong so far despite the coronavirus crisis.
