The net asset value (NAV) of HDFC Credit Risk Debt Fund has fallen by 0.3% after the recent downgrade of NCDs of Simplex Infrastructure by rating agency CARE. The scheme has an exposure worth Rs 62.5 crore to the downgraded NCDs. On December 11, CARE Ratings further downgraded the ratings of NCDs issued by Simplex Infrastructure to D from BB+. Earlier, the AMC had informed that as on November 25, HDFC Credit Risk Debt Fund had an exposure of Rs 124.11 crore to secured non-convertible debentures of Simplex Infrastructure. CARE ratings had downgraded the NCDs of Simplex Infrastructure from BBB to BB+ in November 25. CARE Ratings has put the NCDs on a negative rating outlook after two downgrades. The world’s amphibians may be in even graver danger than we’ve thought, a new report warns. A new analysis of the risks faced by the 8,000 or so known amphibian species has found that up to 50 percent may be at risk of extinction, in a dramatic rise from earlier estimates. The spike stems from the inclusion of roughly 2,200 species that were previously under-represented due to lack of data; now, based on the new models, researchers say at least another 1,000 species are facing the threat of extinction. Her income would have made her eligible to earn working tax credits from the state government, courtesy of a program called the CalEITC. A supplement of the federal Earned Income Tax Credit program, it was created in 2015 to refund low-income families. Close to $360 million in credit was claimed by tax filers this year.It’s a benefit Hernandez hasn’t been able to receive because of her immigration status.
