SINGAPORE: Authorities are investigating the management of Eagle Hospitality Trust over suspected breaches of disclosure requirements under the Securities and Futures Act. The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and the Commercial Affairs Department (CAD) of the Singapore Police Force said in a joint statement on Friday (Jun 5) that they have launched a joint investigation into the trust’s current and former directors, as well as its managing officers. The investigation was prompted by a referral by the Singapore Exchange Regulation, MAS and CAD said. “This follows a review that was announced by MAS and the Singapore Exchange Regulation on Apr 20, 2020 into possible breaches of relevant laws and regulations as well as listing rules in relation to the issues surrounding Eagle Hospitality Trust," they added. LONDON: The body of a pilot has been found after a US F-15C Eagle fighter jet crashed into the North Sea during a routine training mission on Monday (Jun 15), military officials said. "The pilot of the downed F-15C Eagle from the 48th Fighter Wing has been located, and confirmed deceased," said a statement released on the RAF Lakenheath Facebook page, where the plane was based. His name would be released once next of kin had been informed, officials added. The F-15C Eagle crashed after taking off from the base near the town of Mildenhall in eastern England. The base is home to the 48th Fighter Wing, which has operated from there since 1960 and has more than 4,500 active-duty military members. Earlier in the day, Britain's coastguard said it had located the wreckage of the fighter jet that crashed during a training mission in the North Sea, but that the pilot was still missing. ASCI has brought out draft guidelines for “influencer advertising on digital media”, an expanding and so far unmonitored landscape where the lines between personal and promotional content is often blurred. The self-regulatory body wants social media influencers to disclose upfront — through labels or in the case of audio media, by way of an announcement at the beginning and the end of the audio — that the content is promotional and paid for (in cash, kind, or as a barter).
