Change of pace Having a chat with the AC forums. Joe Maring 24 Feb 2021 7 Source: Hayato Huseman / Android Central 2021 could prove to be a pretty interesting year for smartwatches. A rumor from Samsung leaker Ice Universe has suggested that Samsung's next wearable will ditch the company's own Tizen operating system in favor of Google's Wear OS. A move like this would be massive for Android smartwatches. Wear OS certainly has the upper-hand when it comes to things like app support and its Google Assistant integration, but there are still plenty of things that Tizen continues to be better at. Some of our AC forum members recently shared their thoughts on this news, saying: bigsmoke79 02-19-2021 02:20 PM Just read the rumour that Samsung's next smartwatch is going to be running Android Wear OS! it's been tweeted by IceUniverse and reported on SamMobile! Every business depends on its customers, without exceptions. So the question becomes, what type of customers will help your business flourish? The answer is quite simple. Your customer base can be divided into two broad categories. The ones who will buy your product only once under a promotion The ones who will sign-up and continue to be your regulars clients Most marketing efforts (like WordPress theme stores) are inclined at getting a customer to buy a theme or sign-up for the membership pack – usually with the help of attractive evergreen “one-time only” sales pitches. At the end of the day, the happier you customer is, the more likely he is to keep … [Read more...] about 15 Best Knowledgebase & Helpdesk WordPress Themes
Rob Gough, with the 1952 Mickey Mantle card he paid a record-setting $5.2 million for last month. Photo: Berk Communications This time last year, the only sports cards Rob Gough owned were the ones he’d collected as a kid. Somewhere in his possession are plastic sheets filled with Michael Jordans, Shaquille O’Neals, and assorted members of the 1990s Cincinnati Reds, all mass-produced and worth roughly the cardboard they were printed on. These days, Gough’s collection looks a bit different. The entrepreneur says that by mid-January of this year, he had spent $10 million on various trading cards, a spree that culminated with his biggest purchase yet: $5.2 million for a 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle in nearly perfect condition. With that, he shattered the record for the price of a single card. It was a jaw-dropping purchase but hardly an isolated event in a suddenly torrid sports-card market. The previous record for the priciest sale ever had been set just months before, in August … [Read more...] about Why Did Someone Pay $5 Million for a Baseball Card in 2021?
The Nvidia RTX 3060 12GB brings a new level of performance to the mainstream market--sort of. Officially, the RTX 3060 launches today with prices starting at just $329. Realistically? You're as likely to find one at that price as you are to find an RTX 3060 Ti at $399, RTX 3070 at $499, or RTX 3080 at $699 — not entirely impossible, perhaps, but highly unlikely. Nvidia's Ampere architecture now powers many of the best graphics cards , and they're all seeing massive levels of demand from both gamers and cryptocurrency miners . Nvidia has added firmware and driver code to detect Ethereum mining, which should help a bit, but when people are willing to pay extreme scalper pricing on eBay , even for cards like the GTX 1660 Super and RTX 2060, everything in our GPU benchmarks hierarchy is pretty much sold out right now. Nvidia is even working with partners to bring back previous generation Turing and Pascal cards . None of that makes this a bad GPU, … [Read more...] about GeForce RTX 3060 12GB Review: Hope Springs Eternal

That app, launched in 2013 with a promise to "democratize finance for all," offers so-called retail investors simple, zero-fee trades as an easy way to gamble on quick movement of individual stocks. Further Reading Tesla’s stock soars as tens of thousands of Robinhood users buy it But that smooth path to playing the market hit a bump Thursday morning, when Robinhood announced that it was suspending the ability to purchase 13 extremely volatile stocks, including GameStop. In the hours following the announcement, GameStop's stock price first shot up to a high of nearly $470, then cratered to a low of about $126 by 11:20am.
