The new Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupé has been launched in India, in high-performance AMG 53 guise. The second-gen model has grown in size and price, but also packs more in tech, and a new mild-hybrid 3.0-litre, in-line six, twin-turbo petrol engine. So, can it recreate the success its predecessor? Inside, the GLE 53’s cabin is in line with the standard GLE, but with a lot more pizazz and character. The dashboard looks a tad special due to the carbon-fibre trim and other sporty touches. The cabin feels big and airy, and the … [Read more...] about Mercedes-Benz GLE 53 Coupé: Nine-speed gearbox, plenty of kit, and strong performance
The brand's first car to be developed from the ground up as an EV is shaping up quite nicely. Mercedes must be getting closer to the world premiere of its hotly anticipated EQS because the three-pointed star is intensifying its teaser campaign. It was only on Tuesday when the German luxury brand dropped a smartphone-friendly video shot in portrait mode previewing the screen-heavy interior and now we're being given a closer look at the exterior. However, we fiddled with the photo's settings and bumped up the exposure and brightness in our quest to unlock more design details. Having launched the stunning first-generation CLS in 2004 after a preview a year earlier with the Vision CLS concept, the Stuttgart-based squad sure knows how to infuse some coupe cues in a sedan's roofline.
