CANELO ALVAREZ is the man with many options as he sits on the pound-for-pound throne. The Mexican superstar cemented himself as a fully-fledged four-division champion having taken Callum Smith's WBA super-middleweight crown. It came two years after he beat another Brit in Rocky Fielding, but only winning the secondary 'Regular' title. Canelo returned after 13 months out, having not fought since he stepped up to light-heavyweight, knocking out Sergey Kovalev for the WBO belt. But he since vacated that strap, and still holds two titles at middleweight, meaning Alvarez is the man to beat from 160lb up to 175lb. Here SunSport explores his future opponents. Gennady Golovkin, IBF middleweight champion The former middleweight rivals still have unfinished business after the pair of 12-round thrillers - which first ended in a draw then a Canelo win. GGG feels he won BOTH and has the backing of several others sharing that view, as Eddie Hearn confirmed the Kazakh wants … [Read more...] about Seven next opponents for Canelo Alvarez after Callum Smith win including KO king Artur Beterbiev and Billy Joe Saunders

Oscar Original Score Shortlist Hits Flat Note Despite Mix Of Esteemed Veterans & Fresh Blood
The Academy Awards’ shortlists are a blessing and a curse. Blessing in that it truly helps awards strategists and publicists hone their efforts and marketing dollars toward a sampling of candidates in the final run-up to nominations. In the case of the Music Branch and the Original Score category, film scores are typically punished over quota rules, i.e. this year a film’s music needs to be comprised of 60% of original score, versus 50% in prior years. Also, if any of the music was ever pre-conceived in another medium, not specifically written for the film; then forget it. You’re disqualified. I.E. a bulk of Mark Orton’s haunting folksy score from Alexander Payne’s 2013 feature Nebraska were from tracks the composer previously wrote, despite the cues’ electricity in the Will Forte-Bruce Dern-June Squibb black and white dramedy. Johnson & Johnson Could Be The ‘Workhorse’ COVID Vaccine, Colorado Doctor Says
(CBS4) – Johnson & Johnson could be close to filing for an emergency use authorization for its COVID-19 vaccine, but some have raised disappointment about its effective rate, which is 66% for preventing moderate and severe disease. What to Expect of Trump’s Impeachment Trial Finale as Senators Get Set to Vote
The Senate vote on Trump's impeachment trial is drawing near. Both the Democrats and Trump's defence team have presented their main arguments on the case and only a few things separate the Senators from possibly one of the most important votes this year - deciding whether Donald Trump incited insurrection in Washington on 6 January. Here is what you can expect from Day 5 of the impeachment trial: What Happens on Possibly the Last Day of Trial? The fifth day of the proceedings start at 10am Eastern Time. Something that could possibly delay the final voting on Trump's conviction on this day would be either side deciding to call or subpoena witnesses and documents. There has, so far, been no indication that the sides intend to do so. The main "hero" of the trial, Donald Trump, announced a long time ago he would not be giving testimonies under oath. Still, if one of the sides decides to do so, the senators will have two hours to debate and vote on the issue, plus any time needed … [Read more...] about What to Expect of Trump’s Impeachment Trial Finale as Senators Get Set to Vote
Parents of adorable baby with birthmarks on 80% of body told they could LEAVE him at hospital if they didn’t want him
THE parents of an adorable baby boy born with birthmarks on 80 per cent of his body were told they could leave him in hospital if they didn't want him. Artyom Aristakesyan was born with nevus birthmarks of oval patches of raised, dark-coloured skin and also needed surgery for spina bifida. His birthmarks are an indication that his body is struggling to create melanin and pose a threat of becoming cancerous in later life. Mariam Petrosyan, 26, and 28-year-old dad Taron, from Yerevan, Armenia were warned by doctors they didn’t know how long Artyom would live due to the highly increased risk of skin cancer. But both were left horrified when doctors told them they could leave him behind if they didn't think they would be able to take care of him at home. “We only found out about Artyom’s nevus birthmarks when he was born. I was completely shocked,” Mariam said. “The doctors had never seen nevus marks like Artyom’s before and they soon realised he also had spina … [Read more...] about Parents of adorable baby with birthmarks on 80% of body told they could LEAVE him at hospital if they didn’t want him
