Last Man Standing star Tim Allen has described his silence about former President Donald Trump as not joining “the lynching crowd.” In a long interview on Marc Maron ’s WTF podcast , the conservative Allen explained why he stays away from discussing politics. “I literally don’t preach anything,” Allen told Maron. “What I’ve done is just not joined into, as I call it, the ‘we culture.’ I’m not telling anybody else how to live.” Allen continued, “I don’t like that, ‘we should do this’ or, ‘we should do that.’” Regarding Trump, Allen said, “Once I realized that the last president pissed people off, I kind of liked that. So it was fun to just not say anything. Hollywood actor and comedian Tim Allen has said that since he has not joined the "lynching crowd" social trend that has arisen in recent years, he "kind of liked" that former President Donald Trump annoyed many people while in office. The star of the "Last Man Standing" sitcom made an appearance on the stand-up comedian Marc Maron's podcast show "WTF with Marc Maron" earlier this week, and he was asked whether he was an "old school conservative" in regard to his political views and why he has never been outspoken about his political preferences. A documentary exploring claims filmmaker Woody Allen molested his adopted daughter Dylan Farrow when she was a child has had its UK release confirmed. Following its showing in the US, Allen v Farrow will premiere on Sky Documentaries on Monday 15 March. The 85-year-old director has been critical of the HBO production which features his ex-wife Mia Farrow, as well as his accuser, Dylan. She alleges Allen, 85, abused her in 1992 when she was seven years old. The decades-old allegations have always been denied by Allen. The four-part programme also contains new material such as interviews with relatives, investigators, witnesses and family friend Carly Simon. Advertisement Allen has been critical of the programme's content, calling it a "hatchet job" and a "shoddy hit piece". While he does not participate, audio excerpts of his memoir, Apropos Of Nothing, are used in the programme. RIVERSIDE: A California couple were handed life sentences on Friday (May 19) after admitting to imprisoning and torturing 12 of their 13 children in a grisly "House of Horrors" case that shocked the world. David Allen Turpin, 57, and his wife Louise Anna Turpin, 50, had pleaded guilty to 14 felony counts - including cruelty, false imprisonment, child abuse and torture of their children aged three to 30 - and will serve at least 25 years before they are eligible for parole. In an emotionally wrenching hearing, several of the children professed continued love for their parents, who lived in the city of Perris, 70 miles (112 kilometres) southeast of Los Angeles.
