Centre releases list of private hospitals that can participate in COVID-19 vaccination drive from March 1
New Delhi : The Centre has released a list of private hospitals that can participate in the countrywide COVID-19 vaccination program which aims to vaccinate the age-appropriate groups from Monday (March 1, 2021). The private sector participation is being scaled up in the coronavirus vaccination program as over 10,000 hospitals under the Ayushman Bharat-PMJAY and 687 hospitals under the Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) can be used by states as COVID Vaccination Centres (CVCs). Come March 1, the nationwide coronavirus vaccination program will be exponentially expanded to the following age-groups: i) All citizens above 60 years of age, and ii) Those within the age bracket of 45 to 59 years with specified co-morbidities. Digital health passports could help get fans back into stadiums
LONDON: The Premier League returns in empty stadiums on Wednesday after months of COVID-19 lockdown but digital health passports could help get soccer fans back through the turnstiles, according to the company carrying out tests for the league. Genetic testing and digital health company Prenetics, also known as CircleDNA, announced on Tuesday the launch of what it said was the first such COVID-19 offering for sports. The company has tested 8,687 Premier League players and staff for the virus as part of requirements for the return to action. NSE total transactions drop by 13.66% in January
Kindly Share This Story: The total transactions at the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) dropped by 13.66 per cent in January, the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports. The NSE monthly domestic and foreign portfolio investment (FPI) flows obtained NAN on Monday shows that total transactions stood at N232.46 billion (about 590.82 million dollars) in January. This was in contrast with N269.24 billion (about $687.06 million) recorded in December. The performance of January 2021 when compared to the performance in January 2020 (N235.46billion) revealed that total transactions decreased marginally by 1.27 per cent. In January 2021, the total value of transactions executed by domestic investors outperformed transactions executed by foreign investors by circa 60 per cent.
