NEW DELHI: Tapping into the growing need for vocational training, an Australian educational institution will set up vocational training centres in the country to train locals as "job-ready" for retail and beauty sectors. Southbank Institute of Technology (SBIT), one of Australia's leading vocational training institutions, entered into a collaboration with 'Franchise India Holdings Limited' (FIHL) for setting up centres in India to train students for entry-level and mid-level jobs in the sectors. A Memorandum-of-Understanding was signed between the two parties at a function in Australian High Commission today.
