Exhibition highlights Vietnam – Cambodia relationship

The exhibition, themed "Vietnam – Cambodia Solidarity and Friendship," is part of the activities to mark the 55th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam – Cambodia diplomatic relations (June 24, 1967 – 2022). Deputy Chief of the General Department of Political Affairs (GDP) Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet, representatives from the GDP's agencies and the Department of Foreign Relations, and Cambodian Ambassador to Vietnam Chay Navuth attended the event. Speaking at the opening ceremony, Director of the Vietnam Museum of Military History Colonel Le Vu Huy affirmed the long-standing traditional friendship between Vietnam and Cambodia. He recalled that 55 years ago on June 24, Vietnam and Cambodia officially set up their diplomatic ties, marking a new historical milestone in the bilateral relations. Colonel Huy added that through many ups and downs in the history, this relationship has been consolidated, nurtured by generations of leaders and people of the two countries and become an invaluable asset of the two nations.
