Video PlayerClose BEIRUT, May 20 (Xinhua) — Britain launched on Wednesday, in partnership with the Lebanese education ministry, a world-class artificial intelligence (AI) learning application, the National News Agency (NNA) reported. Public schools and families in Lebanon will receive free logins to Century Tech, which allows students to study with the help of an AI-powered learning engine, as schools in Lebanon will be closed until at least September amid the COVID-19 outbreak, NNA said. Covering English, Science including Biology, Physics and Chemistry and Maths for children aged between seven and 16, The AI learning application will initially be launched in 600 schools and available to the more than 5,000 public schools across Lebanon in the coming weeks. British Ambassador to Lebanon Chris Rampling said during the virtual launching of the application that he hopes to see Century Tech paving the way for more innovative means of learning and future possibilities for edtech investment in Lebanon.
