The event featured the participation of 200 enterprises from 18 countries and territories worldwide, including the Republic of Korea (RoK), India, the US, China, Thailand and Vietnam. On display were modern equipment and machines in the field, such as medical equipment, laboratories, hospital equipment, pharmaceuticals, beauty care products, dental products and medical tourism. Addressing the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Health Truong Quoc Cuong said that, through the expo, the Ministry wished to create a fair, healthy, stable and competitive business environment. He also noted that the event is an effective and important trade promotion channel for domestic and foreign manufacturers and traders to actively exchange and seek cooperation and linkages, contributing to enhancing bilateral and multilateral trade exchanges in the field of pharmaceuticals and medical equipment.
