We asked about your first car. You answered and we love the memories

Was there a smell? All the details. We asked a few questions. The ones who could find photographic evidence of these classic memories sent them my way. You can find them in our “My First Car” photo gallery. Here’s what people across Louisiana (and Facebook) had to say about them. My mom bought her for $400 in 2003. She was brown? No, gray. No brown. She was somewhere between the color of mud and the color of paint primer. She had a lot of dents and the cloth on the rooftop was cracked and peeling. The upholstery on the ceiling of the car was held up with thumbtacks.
