-A +A KUALA LUMPUR (May 22): Telekom Malaysia Bhd (TM) shares fell as much as 58 sen or 12% to RM4.12 after the company said today first quarter net profit dropped 32% to RM157.16 million from RM230.43 million a year earlier. TM said the decline in voice, data and other telecommunication-related services led to a decrease in group revenue. In a statement to Bursa Malaysia, TM said revenue dropped to RM2.85 billion in the first quarter ended March 31, 2018 from RM2.96 billion. At 4:24pm today, TM shares were traded at RM4.18 to become Bursa Malaysia’s second-largest decliner. TM saw 7.56 million shares transacted.
