(Cinet)- Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized a press conference to introduce some activities on 15 year anniversary of Viet Nam Family Day and the action month on family violence prevention. Deputy Minister Dang Thi Bich Lien attended the press conference. Viet Nam family festival 2016 is an annual activity to celebrate Viet Nam Family Day (on June 28). It is a meaningful activity to honour some traditional values of Vietnamese family. Accordingly, some activities will take place on June 25-28 at the Viet Nam exhibition of culture and arts as follows: 15 year anniversary of Viet Nam Family Day; some cultural activities to honour Vietnamese family: “To am gia dinh” (family house); “Tuoi tho voi gia dinh” (childhood with family); “Bon mua yeu thuong” (four loving seasons); evening party “Vu dieu hanh phuc”; “Gender equality – Challenge with young family nowaday”… The event creates opportunity for participants to write their hopes for their family, and take photos. There will also be an exhibition on photos and documents about family affairs and sweet memories, a week on books and publications in the field of family, and an exhibition of handicrafts.
