A young man in southern Vietnam has been captured following the death of a female minor who killed herself allegedly because a sex clip showing her and the man was uploaded on Facebook last week. Police in Cam My District of the southern province of Dong Nai on Sunday arrested Pham Tan Loc, 21, for an investigation into charges of “having sexual intercourse with children” pursuant to Article 115 of the Penal Code. Loc’s arrest came after N.T.A.T., a 15-year-old girl of the same district, took her own life by drinking weedkiller at her home on June 17, leading to her death three days later, police officers said. Before committing suicide, T. told her family and friends that she was very upset as a clip showing her and Loc making love had been posted on social media. After detecting the suicide attempt, T.’s family took her to a hospital for treatment but she died at 2:00 am on Saturday, according to news website Tri Thuc Tre.
