(VOVworld) – The Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations and Ho Chi Minh city’s Choir and Ballet theatre organized a concert to mark the 40th anniversary of Vietnam-Australia diplomatic ties in Ho Chi Minh city on Friday. This was the last of a series of activities to mark this event which included science exhibitions featuring the land and people of Australia, and a cooking contest. Australian Consul General in Ho Chi Minh city, John McAnulty said: ” Our relationship with Vietnam is very close which has expanded in a wide range of cooperation in policy exchange, trade, investment, education and defence. This has been shown in the strong relations that are existing between the two peoples with common interests. Looking ahead, the relations will become bigger and stronger as we celebrate the 40th anniversary of diplomatic ties.
