A new dance troupe, “Hanoi Dance Theatre”, will perform their first show at the Hanoi Opera House on December 6th. Accordingly, 20 artists are expected to bring interesting and unforgettable moments to audiences with four ballets which will be choreographed by Vietnamese and foreign choreographers. These four ballets include “Goc Nhin” by choreographer Cao Duc Tuan, “Bamboo Spring” by choreographer Pontus Lidberg from Sweden, “Dance With Me” by choreographer Duong Dung and “Eternal Flame” by choreographer Jean Paul from France. The dance troupe was set up some months ago by talented Vietnamese artists, including dance star Cao Chi Thanh and choreographer Cao Duc Toan, to express their love and passion to dance. Members of the troupe are teachers and students of the Vietnam Dance College. Choreographer Cao Duc Toan, who won golden prizes at Vietnamese and international dance competitions, said that the establishment of the “Hanoi Dance Theatre” will be an interesting playground for young talented dancers to demonstrate their talents and improve their professionalism.
