Sure our current Administration hasn’t came up with a solution for soaring gas prices. But it’s not just Bush’s fault. Our Country’s over dependence on oil, and a shortsighted energy policy for decades, has created this expansive and environmentally dangerous situation we find ourselves in today.And it’s not just our Government. There are huge oil demands in countries such as China and India. Investors have bought up oil and other commodities while the Dollar and stocks have fell.Of course Governments in the Middle East, Sudan, Venezuela, and Iran are reaping huge profits off of $100 plus a barrel oil prices. And with no sign in sight of these prices ever going down, let alone just stabilizing, it is time for countries to focus on cheap clean alternative energy sources.We need to replace politicians with oil ties with those who understand the economics of energy and the true interests their country’s citizens. Until last year our Government had not raised fuel efficiency standards in almost 30 years. With the War in Iraq, and the destabilization of the Middle East, and a ever growing deficit of trillions of dollars, whoever is elected will have their hands full.We can’t rely on our Government… Read full this story
